What is Washerman's Cares?
Washerman's is dedicated to making a positive impact on the community. We want to go beyond offering a safe, clean space for you to do your laundry. So, we are launching Washerman's Cares, a program to make doing laundry more accessible for everyone.
We are working towards being able to offer FREE laundry to those in need and educate people on proper laundry care.
If you are interested in donating, we are collecting laundry detergents, fabric softeners, dryer sheets, and more to help those in need.
We are also currently accepting donations of new and gently used winter coats for the Jersey Cares Coat Drive until January 6th, 2024. For more information about their organization, click HERE.
Don't have time to drop off in-store? We will come to you! Just let us know that you have coats you would like to donate and we will come pick them up.

We donated laundry products to the Ozanam Family Shelter! This shelter serves Middlesex County by providing "temporary and emergency lodging, meals, assistance with housing, employment and children's educational placement, case management, and referrals." If you are in need of assistance, you can find out more HERE.
We donated our first delivery vehicle, Gerty, to Kars4Kids! They take non-traditional donations, like cars, boats, planes, and real estate, and turn it into cash to support the community the item was donated from. For more information about Karz4Kids, click HERE.
In October we donated laundry detergents to the Family Justice Center, which provides resources and guidance to survivors of Domestic Violence. If you need assistance, you can learn more HERE.

In December, we held a coat drive to donate to Jersey Cares. Through donations from our community, we donated over 60 coats! To learn more about the Jersey Cares Foundation, click HERE.
January 2024
In January, we donated blankets and comforters to Greed Drop! They accept most household donations to help support the community. For more information about Green Drop, you can find it HERE.
